I’m Andrew Visser, a fractional COO and operations leader who helps ambitious founders turn complexity into structure, clarity, and growth. I work with start-ups and scale-ups that need senior operational leadership but do not yet need, or want, a full-time executive hire.  My focus is on building the operational foundations that let businesses grow faster, serve customers better, and stay in control as they expand.

For more than 10 years, I’ve helped businesses in iGaming, fintech, crypto, payments, software, and regulated tech improve how they operate.  Much of my work has been in fast-moving, highly regulated environments where process, risk, and delivery all need to work together. That has meant building teams and functions from scratch, tightening workflows, improving governance, and helping leadership teams make better decisions with more visibility and less friction.

I’m especially valuable when a business is scaling quickly and operational pressure starts to build. That might mean creating a customer support function, redesigning incident management, improving release management, setting up KYC/AML and payments operations, introducing better project management, or building the systems that connect commercial goals to daily execution. I’ve also supported businesses through market entry, market expansion, regulatory change, and transitions into new business models, including real-money gambling, token launches, and digital payments operations.

A big part of my approach is making operations workable, not just well-documented. I like to create practical structures that teams will actually use: clearer ownership, simpler processes, better reporting, stronger service levels, and fewer handoff failures. Where needed, I bring in Agile, ITIL, automation, compliance tooling, and workflow redesign to reduce noise, lower risk, and improve delivery speed.

Leadership Style

My leadership style is hands-on, calm, and commercially focused. I work best in environments where the answers are not obvious, the pace is high, and the business needs someone who can balance strategy with execution. I’m used to working closely with founders, CEOs, product leaders, technical teams, and commercial stakeholders to align priorities and get things moving without overcomplicating the business.

I lead with structure, but I’m not rigid. I believe strong operations should create momentum, not bureaucracy. That means I focus on what will make the biggest difference first: removing bottlenecks, improving accountability, stabilising delivery, and creating the operating rhythm the business needs to scale with confidence.
